Where are you located and what areas do you serve?
The Collective Event Studio is located in the heart of Orion Township, Michigan, with easy access to I-75.  Our members come from all of the surrounding areas and have experience working all over the state. 

How much does using The Collective Event Studio cost?
The vendor recommendation services provided by the Studio are complimentary to all clients. There are some extra touches that require a fee.  Additional information coming soon.

Do I have to exclusively use The Collective Event Studio vendors?
You are welcome to use as many of our vendors that you need.  If a needed service is not currently part of our Collective, we will use our resources throughout the wedding and event industry to find the best vendor available.

Can I contact vendors directly?
Yes, although part of our personalized assistance to you is to check vendor availability, update pricing, and schedule consultations at no cost.

When should I begin working with the you?
We work with clients at any stage of their planning process.  We can recommend your entire team to execute every element of your event, or a specialty vendor to enhance your event. 

So you’re like a wedding planner?
While Laura Allis is a respected and seasoned wedding and event planner who runs The Collective Event Studio, she does not fill the role of a traditional wedding planner.  We will make recommendations for your vendor team(including a fabulous wedding planner), offering several options based on your event style, personality, and budget.

 How are your vendors selected?
The Collective Event Studio accepts applications from event creatives with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service, who are dedicated to designing events that exceed expectations, and who have a desire to be part of our innovative collective.  All applications are carefully reviewed by the studio.  Members are chosen based on reputation, experience, and services offered.  Membership to the studio is fee-based.  We never take commissions on vendor services recommended to our clients.

Can I just stop by and look or do I need an appointment?

My wedding is in Michigan, but I live out-of-state. Can you still help me?
We can collaborate with you no matter where you are located.
